Coming down off of the Jaguar F-type review was going to be hard, but I was pleasantly surprised when a Scion FRS appeared in my driveway. It’s MSRP of just under $27k is very reasonable, and a simple, light, rear wheel drive sports car is never a bad thing. Was it everything I’d hoped for?
I was contacted by K40 in August about reviewing their portable radar and laser detector, the K40 RL100. I wanted to make sure I got a good feel for the product before giving my opinions on it. I’ve used this product for a solid six months, and found all kinds of laser, radar, and speed traps with it during that time. I’ll break down some K40 history, my experience with the unit, and my recommendations.
Here is our latest video review, featuring the 2013 Toyota Sienna XLE. This minivan was a delight to have for the week. Comfort, spaciousness, passing power, luggage capacity, it’s all there. Without further ado, enjoy the video!
It’s always fantastic when a car completely surprises you and contradicts almost everything you know about a manufacturer. Mercedes stigma, for better or for worse, is generally one of posh polite cars that are as comfortable as they are conservative. Reserved would be the word that comes to mind. This 2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster is nothing like your grandfather’s Mercedes Benz, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
