I always love a V8, so when the 2015 Dodge Charger RT Hemi Road and Track package arrived, I was quite excited. The Charger with the 5.7 Hemi is one of the best values in cars right now. The as-tested price is around $45,000, and for that you get a 370 horsepower 5.7 liter Hemi engine, a smooth shifting 8 speed transmission, heated and cooled suede seats, 20″ wheels, sport suspension, the list goes on. This car a $1500 black painted roof option, so let’s just take that one out and call it $43,500. Is it any good?
Here is the latest car of the week road test. I really love muscle cars and big american v8s, and this one has all of that wrapped up in a good looking package. I had a great time with the 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Redline. It’s a great muscle car. Don’t expect it to be a precise corner carver, but if you treat it right it’ll reward you with a very balanced and good handling performance. The 6-speed Tremec TR-6060 transmission is slick shifting and as strong as anything out there. I really loved the combination of the manual with a healthy 5.7 liter Hemi V8 engine. I’d LOVE to test the SRT8 version, which has a 6.4 liter Hemi and another 100 horsepower. Until next time, Enjoy!
I’ve always loved trucks. It started in a sandbox in central New Jersey, where in my formative years I’d spend hours on end playing with yellow toy trucks of all sizes. Fast forward a number of decades: I still adore trucks –of all sizes– and this one is no exception. Does this truck do my beloved Tonka toys justice? Read on.
What a great truck! I’m a big pick up truck fan, and this truck didn’t disappoint! What a capable, comfortable, daily drivable workhorse! Chrysler really has been doing amazing things lately. Check out the video review!
