Blog of Speed was invited to the 2013 Boca Raton Concours D’Elegance.  We knew vintage metal would be there in force, how could we resist?  The event was held on Sunday, February 24th at the prestigious Boca Raton Resort and Club and featured some of the finest vintage and classic automobiles and motorcycles around. It was a great time for everyone, and modern cars were in the crowd too.  The title sponsor Mercedes-Benz brought out a breathtaking SLS GT, Lamborghini of Palm Beach brought out an Aventador Roadster, and our friends at The Collection brought out a striking Mclaren MP4-12C Spider. I think Rick Case,  Founder and Producer of the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance sums up the event perfectly: “We began this event seven years ago for two reasons,” said Case. “One was to unite car enthusiasts from around the world and two was to support a much deserving charity; the Boys & Girls Clubs. Now, a marvelous seven years later, we are thrilled to say that not only is the Boca Raton Concours thriving but it has become, in a short seven years, the fastest growing and most charitable Concours in the world.” Thank you Mr. Case, shows like this are vitally important to keeping the history of the automobile within reach of the younger generations.  Enjoy the Gallery!
