I just got back from Detroit, and the Auto Show was quite good as usual.  My personal favorites were the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, the Acura NSX Concept, and the Jeep Wrangler on 42.5″ tires.  Read more to see the full gallery!

The one manufacturer that disappointed me was GM.  They had a 2014 Corvette and Silverado there, but the public couldn’t sit in them.  I find this completely stupid that they had ONE C7 Corvette that was roped off.  So much for being the people’s supercar.  They should have brought 5 of them and let everyone sit, experience, and be merry.  What do you expect though, it IS GM we’re talking about here.  Ford on the other hand had a GT500 Convertible, Raptor, and a lot of other cars open and ready to play with.  Jeep also had a fantastic booth with modified and stock Wranglers, SRT8s, and all forms of Grand Cherokees.  Mercedes had the refreshed E class there, quite the looker!  It looks as good in person as it does in photos.  They also had the SLS Black Series, which turns one of the better looking cars into a real parts bin special in my opinion.  The normal SLS is so much better looking.  Maserati showed off the new Quattroporte, and while I’m not a huge fan of the exterior styling, the interior was very plush and well put together.  I also went for a ride in the MKZ Hybrid, a car I was introduced to at a launch event in Miami a few months ago.  What a great comfortable car!  While driving around Cobo Hall’s basement isn’t exactly taxing, I can’t wait to get some time in this car.  Considering how good recent Ford models have been, I have high hopes for the Lincoln. Without further ado, enjoy the gallery.
